Hinged/Awning Windows

Hinged (casement) and Awning windows function in a very similar way, however they hinge at different points. The Awning window can increase a homes ventilation capabilities whilst also providing some protection from the elements. They may be key lockable for added security and a restricted opening can be included where any fall hazards may be present. Our Aluminium Hinged and Awning windows utilise a chain winder to open or close the window, which may be manually operated or connected to an electric winder for ease of operation or where access is limited. Awning windows are one of the most popular designs of window in Melbourne where inclement weather is a consideration. As they hinge from the top and open outwards from the bottom, ventilation without weather restrictions is an added bonus.
