The newly redeveloped McLeans Road Kindergarten located in Bundoora is a state of the art facility promising an interactive learning experience for it's tiny occupants. The two room (66 place) kindergarten caters for 3 and 4 year olds and also contains co-located family services. With the rebuild being completed late 2021, the energy efficiency criteria was met utilising a mix of double glazed units and single glazed, laminated units to comply with safety and thermal requirements.

100mm and 150mm front glazed and centre glazed aluminium profiles accommodated the LowE and laminated glass sheets. Alliage complemented the design brief, by incorporating a variety of powder coat colours for the framing and was also able to integrate a number of curved, playful window designs as specified. Installation was completed with the inclusion of automatic operating mechanisms to the entry doors.
